Dan:

I have seen multiple tow capacities for the xc60 T6. The specs on the Volvo site indicates 3300lbs for all models. Yet, several reviews indicate that the T6 has a max tow capacity of 4409 lbs.

This would put it head to head with the Audi Q5, in this critical area for some perspective owners.

What is the the max towing capacity???

Thanks, Kurt

Hi Terri,
sorry, I spelled your name wrong. You can do as the Swedes do with my name, call me Don.

Hi Terry,

Interesting....good question. Give us a day or so. I have to pick our Customer Care group's brain. I'm sure we have our ways, but just rather have someone who lives it, to help answer.

Hello Anthony,

I could do couple of things in response:
1. BS an answer and maybe you'll go away.
2. Concoct something that sounds good and make you warm and tingly for few days.
3. or this:

Two issues
In Europe with diesel engines, there is some routing of equipment that goes right where fog light would go when we use an R Design front bumper. Also the next 2011's will have an electronic power steering set-up that uses space behind one fog light area. And finally the decision was taken, since the R's are small production run, to use only one bumper fascia and not make one for w/fogs and one w/o fogs. However, our accessory guys are, here in Rockleigh, are about four months out for a solution (which really means five to six months). That said, whatever we do has to be approved by Volvo in Sweden. I've been on that side and one can become very old before they grant approval on some things. What we can offer is if you want, get back to me around May/June and lets see what's happening. You can either post something here or email me at: djohn116@volvocars.com.

Why have volvo not installed fog lights on the xc60R, or provide them as a option.
