This in from a friend at our Gent factory

Mark De Mey, PR Director at our Gent plant, is a very good friend. Many years ago, a bunch of Volvo PR notables and myself (No idea why I was attending – I think Soren had his hand in it – since all my counterparts were higher up the food chain than I) had the honor of attending Templeton College in Oxford for a four-week PR program condensed from their 18 month program.  Mark was the calm one in the group. However, one time he showed up in his Volvo wagon, with Belgium beer for everyone. Great beers from that country.

So this morning, the first email in my inbox is one from Mark with a bunch of photos of our C30 Polestar cars being built. Mark said, “We have a great in-house photographer (Eric Demurie) who spotted this car on the assembly line. I think he took some great shots.” So I’m fired up on coffee and full of ideas on where this could lead and my first thought is to get these posted for you all to see. I just talked to Art Battaglia, Manager Lifecycle Business Strategy, and Andrew Gallagher, Product Strategy Manager, and they had some interesting ideas. We will keep you posted.
